Admissions at Sri Ram Colleges

Admission Procedure for Degree Colleges (via DOST)

Admissions to our Degree College programs are conducted through the Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) process, as administered by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Please follow these steps for a successful application:

  • Visit the DOST Website: Go to the official DOST-2024 website: https://dost.cgg.gov.in
  • Register Online: Register yourself on the DOST website by providing the required details.
  • Pay Registration Fee: Pay the prescribed DOST registration fee through the available online payment methods.
  • Fill the Application Form: Carefully and accurately fill out the online application form with all necessary information.
  • Exercise Web Options: Choose Sri Ram College and your desired program options during the web options entry period on the DOST portal.

Important Points to Note Regarding Admissions:

  • University Fee Payment: The full University rate for your chosen program must be paid at the time of admission to confirm your seat.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: Please be advised that all fees paid by the candidate are non-refundable and will not be adjusted for future admissions under any circumstances, regardless of whether the student attends classes or not.
  • Language & Subject Choices: Once Second Language and Optional Subjects are selected during admission, they cannot be changed after the final admission deadline declared by Osmania University.
  • Medium Change Policy: Change of medium of instruction may be permitted at the degree level only if the candidate has secured a minimum of 40% marks in English in their qualifying examination (Intermediate or equivalent).

Documents Required for DOST Registration:

Please ensure you have the following documents ready before starting your DOST Registration:

  • Aadhar Card: Your Aadhar card must be linked with your active mobile number for OTP verification.
  • Passport Size Photograph: A recent passport-sized photograph.
  • Signature: Scanned image of your signature.
  • Intermediate Marks Memo: Marksheet/Memo of your Intermediate/12th class examination.
  • Intermediate Transfer Certificate (T.C): Transfer Certificate from your previous Intermediate college.
  • SSC/10th Class Memo: Marksheet of your SSC/10th class examination (primarily for Date of Birth verification).
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable): For candidates claiming reservation under any caste category.
  • Income Certificate (if applicable): For candidates seeking fee concessions or scholarships based on income criteria.
  • Fee Payment Receipt: Proof of DOST registration fee payment.

Admission Profile Book:

During the admission process, all students will be provided with an "Admission Profile Book." This book serves as a comprehensive student record and includes details such as:

  • Personal and Family Information: Essential details about the student and their family, including contact information.
  • Educational Background: Academic records, previous school/college details, and qualifications obtained.
  • Health Information: Medical history, allergies, and any special health requirements.
  • Extracurricular Activities Record: Participation in sports, cultural events, clubs, and other extracurricular engagements.


Students are required to:

  • Complete the Admission Profile Book: Fill out all sections accurately and completely.
  • Retain a Copy: Keep one copy for your personal records.
  • Submit to Section In-Charge: Provide one completed copy to your respective Section In-Charge.
  • Annual Updates: Update the Admission Profile Book annually and submit the revised copy to your Section In-Charge at the beginning of each academic year.


Procedure for Change of Address:

  • At the Beginning of Each Semester: If your address has changed, update your permanent/contact address in the Registration Cards filled out at the start of each semester.
  • During the Semester: For address changes occurring in the middle of a semester, students must submit a formal application for Change of Address to the College Office through the Administrative Officer.
